Message from the Chairperson

Welcome to the Florida Diversity Council.  On behalf of our Board of Directors, I encourage you to join us in building a progressive and influential diversity organization for all of Florida.  All of us are volunteers, but this is important work.  We plan nothing less than significant advancement of diversity and inclusion within our organizations and communities, and the empowerment of individuals with the knowledge and tools to make it happen.

We know that in business and in life, the ability to communicate and learn from others, even those whose views differ from our own, is critical for growth and achievement.  The constant changes in the make-up of our state and our global world present a rich opportunity.  Together we can create deeper and wiser strategies for embracing these changes.  Anything less will not adequately meet the current and future times in which we live.  We hope to build a community in which people collaborate and share ideas for success by learning the stories of others and by helping each other to become leaders in our organizations through a shared commitment to diverse viewpoints and history.
